Claimed Samsung Galaxy S4 images hit the web ahead of unveiling

With the official Samsung Galaxy S4 unveiling now just days away, a new round of claimed Samsung Galaxy S4 images have hit the web, offering a potential insight into how the handset might look.

Hitting the web courtesy of repeated tech tipster evleaks, the latest Samsung Galaxy S4 images have shown off a selection of claimed renders which once again point to the device doing away with the current physical home button in favour of a new, completely touch interface.

Although far from the finished unit, the Samsung Galaxy S4 images are said to give an insight into the early design workings of the Samsung Galaxy S3 follow-on, a device which is to be formally unveiled next Thursday, March 14, at a dedicated launch event in New York City.

As well as indicating at the potential Samsung Galaxy S4 design, the latest leaks have also teased a selection of claimed Samsung Galaxy S4 specs, hinting that the device will, as previously reported, run Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, just like the Google Nexus 4.

Further backing up past Samsung Galaxy S4 rumours, the latest leaks have suggested that the iPhone 5 rivalling device will come packing a 4.99-inch 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED display, alongside a 13-megapixel rear-mounted camera, bolstered by 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities and an integrated LED flash.

With 2GB of RAM also seemingly set for inclusion, it has been suggested that, like its Apple branded rival, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be made available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options.

With Samsung having confirmed that a Samsung Galaxy S4 launch event will be held in NYC on March 14, attention has now turned to when the device will make it to retailers.

With a selection of Samsung Galaxy S4 rumours suggesting the handset will land as the first eight-core smartphone, a number of reports have pinned the eagerly awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 release date will be held between April 15 and April 22.
