Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is slicing its way onto PS4 and Xbox One

Torn Banner Studios’ Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is coming to PS4 and Xbox One this December.

The popular first person viking slasher is coming to current generation consoles, Torn Banner Studios’ has announced.

Medieval Warfare allows up to 24 players to take part in super violent, large scale battles across dozens of maps.

The PS4 and Xbox One release will feature over 25 maps, dedicated server support and an all new horde mode.

Chivalry’s new horde mode supports teams of six players or less, pitting you against endless waves of AI controlled opponents.

The title will be downloadable from the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace from December 1 for $19.99, however a UK price is yet to be confirmed.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Ultimate Edition will also be available for £29.99, featuring a bunch of additional content.

The Ultimate Edition will include the Barbarian Character Pack, Marauding Arbiter Pack, Inquisitive Dreadnaught Bundle and Barbarian Weapons Pack.

Pre-orders for Medieval Warfare are expected to open on November 25 for Xbox One, no word on PS4 yet though.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare first launched for PC back in 2012, since then it has been released on both PS3 and Xbox 360.

As of October 2014, the game has sold over 2 million copies.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare will be available on PS4 and Xbox One from December 1.
