CD Projekt Red has released the launch trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt "Hearts of Stone" EP.
Ahead of the "Hearts of Stone" release on 13 October, there's a brand-new trailer for The Witcher 3's first major EP.
It sets up the events of the expansion, in which Geralt finds himself squaring up to the immortal Olgierd von Everec, a bandit captain plagued by the consequences of being unkillable.
CD Projekt Red claims the expansion will add a further ten hours of gameplay to The Witcher 3, introducing new characters and powerful monsters, as well as a sprinkle of romance – as is the Witcher way.

Players will travel to an area called No Man's Land and to Oxenfurt too. Quests will be assigned to you by a rather "mysterious Man of Glass", who you'll have encountered at the start of the main campaign.
"Step again into the shoes of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer, this time hired to defeat a ruthless bandit captain, Olgierd von Everec, a man who possesses the power of immortality," reads the official description.
"The expansion lets you choose your own path through an experience that includes recruiting a crew of break-in artists, spending a night partying with a ghost, and outsmarting the most bizarre creatures Geralt has ever faced."
