Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer beta details announced

Activision has revealed a bunch of details regarding Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer beta, including when and where you can play it.

Those who pre-ordered Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on PS4 will gain access to the beta on October 14-24. Xbox One players will have to wait until October 21, giving them only three days of playtime.

The beta will include three unique multiplayer maps: Frontier, Frost and Throwback. These are complemented by classic modes that many fans will find familiar, such as Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed.

Defender, a mode unique to Infinite Warfare, is also playable. Defender has you and your team defending a mobile drone for as long as possible as it flies across the map.

In addition to a slew of maps and games modes, players will have the chance to play around with Infinite Warfare’s mechanized combat rigs.

These rigs each come fitted with their own unique skills, aesthetic and abilities; six of which can be found in the full game.

Unfortunately, Activision has no plans to hold a beta period for Modern Warfare Remastered. However, you can gain early access to the single-player campaign by pre-ordering Infinite Warfare’s Digital Deluxe Edition through the PlayStation Store.
