Call of Duty: Ghosts Prestige and Hardened Editions unveiled

The Call of Duty: Ghosts Prestige and Hardened Editions have been detailed by publisher Activision ahead of the game’s official release later this year.

Brimmed with a raft of additional content, the newly detailed Call of Duty: Ghosts Prestige and Hardened Editions will both see gamers benefit from a range of new, exclusive maps, in-game bonuses and access to the Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC Season Pass.

Kicking off with the Call of Duty: Ghosts Hardened Edition, those gamers after more than just the regularly boxed game will be able to splash the cash for a copy of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 follow-on which will come within a collectible steelbook casing with exclusive artwork.

Set to cost a $120 (£77), the Call of Duty: Ghosts Hardened Edition will also see gamers presented with a military-style Paracord strap, digital Call of Duty: Ghosts soundtrack and a Ghosts Insignia Pack which features in-game player patches, playercards and exclusive backgrounds.

On top of this, alongside the complimentary Ghosts DLC Season Pass, gamers will benefit from a download bonus in the form of a multiplayer map dubbed ‘Freefall’.

With all of the same content as the Hardened option, the Call of Duty: Ghosts Prestige Edition will throw a 1080p Full HD Tactical Camera into the mix with a memory card, multiple mounting attachments and a rechargeable battery.

The Call of Duty: Ghosts Prestige Edition will set wannabe owners back a hefty $200 (£128). Both collectible versions of the next COD title will be available alongside the standard game on the November 5 Call of Duty: Ghosts release date.
