Activision has teased a potential Wii U launch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
Call of Duty publisher Activision has teased a possible upcoming entry to the COD franchise on the Wii U.
The official Activision Support Twitter account has hinted that Wii U gamers should expect a Wii U title soon.
"Hey there. Stay tuned for more Wii U releases", came the official tweet.
This was the reply to one gamer's question as to why Activision and Treyarch still allow players to connect their Nintendo IDs to the Call of Duty site despite the fact there are officially no Call of Duty games coming to platform in the near future.
We're thinking that the teaser tweet could relate to the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, which is due for release on November 6.
The game is currently confirmed for launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC, but so far no mention has been made of Wii U.
However, this wouldn't be the first time Treyarch has launched a Call of Duty game for Wii U. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was launched for all consoles including Wii U back of 2012.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was announced by Activision in April and is in development at Treyarch studios -- famous for inventing the Black Ops series and its well-loved zombies mode.
Black Ops 3 will have an option for gamers to play as the first female lead character, or play through a four-player co-op campaign.
