Call of Duty Advanced Warfare lag issues crippling multiplayer
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare gamers are reporting significant lag issues, which are crippling the game’s multiplayer.
Multiple users have flooded online, furiously posting Twitter messages to the official Activision accounts and releasing YouTube videos highlighting the problems.
Reported issues include “service not available” messages, match disconnects and serious lag issues leading to unfair deaths and misfired shots.
Issues seem to be mainly occurring with the PC and PS4 versions of the game, but there are reports on every platform at the moment.
The Activision Support Twitter feed is being bombarded with messages, so it’s quite hard to keep track of replies, but the company confirmed it has “teams working around the clock on this”.
As expected, the Advanced Warfare forums are full of gamers complaining of issues with the game on various platforms, as well as on Reddit.
We haven’t had any issues our end with the Advanced Warfare multiplayer, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t widespread problems with the game.
The line from Activision at the moment is:
“We’re aware of connectivity issues currently being experienced. They are under investigation. Stay tuned for updates”.
We’ll keep you posted on any future updates on the issues and let us know if you’ve been having any problems with Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.
