Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Collector’s Editions announced

It’s time for hardcore gamers to get excited, as Activision officially unveils the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Collector’s Editions set to launch later this year.

With a trio of Advanced Warfare collector’s editions to be released – the Atlas Pro Edition, Atlas Limited Edition and Atlas Digital Pro Edition – those looking for more than the standard boxed game can snap up all manner of COD-themed in-game and physical add-ons.

With prices ranging from £69.99 to £99.99, all three collectors’ packs focus on gear designed for the Atlas Corporation, the game’s leading Private Military Corporation of the year 2054.

Kicking things off with an exclusive multiplayer map, Atlas Gorge, all three packs include two addition Atlas Corporation themed weapons – the Bal-27 AE Assault Rifle and Atlas 45 AE Pistol – and Atlas issue Exoskeleton and an Atlas Helmet.

On top of this, a single player exoskeleton upgrade token and five bonus supply drops are included alongside an Atlas Player Card which will allow gamers to leave their mark on any killcam.

For those plumping for the £99.99 Atlas Pro Edition or £69.99 Atlas Limited Edition collector’s packs, this bonus content will be further enhanced by a Welcome to Atlas: Advanced Soldier Manual, a collectible SteelBook featuring artwork from the game and a digital copy of the official Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare soundtrack.

The top of the line Atlas Pro Edition also bags gamers the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Season Pass, guaranteeing four further DLC Map Packs following the game’s release.

Although missing out on the physical SteelBook and Solider Manual, the Atlas Digital Pro Edition – which will set wannabe owners back £89.99 – benefits from an Atlas Digital Edition Personalisation Pack, a mystery feature Activision has promised more details on soon.

Developed by Sledgehammer Games, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the first CoD release to come from the franchise’s new three year product cycle.

With the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Atlas Pro Edition and Atlas Limited Edition available for pre-order now, the Digital Edition will be made available for advanced order ahead of the game’s November 4 release.
