Bloodborne: The Old Hunters to feature all new weapons and armour

Bloodborne: The Old Hunters expansion will feature new weapons, armour and enemies.

Series producer Masaaki Yamagiwa shared a number of new details about Bloodborne’s upcoming expansion in a recent interview.

Speaking to Justin Haywald over at Gamespot, Yamigawa expanded upon what The Old Hunters is all about, and the additions it will bring to the game.

The Old Hunters will feature three distinct stages, each of which will feature new enemies, items and secrets to discover.

You will not be able to access the expansion from the main menu, it will instead be found as you progress through the main game; much like the Souls’ titles.

The setting has been described as a “nightmare where Old Hunters have been trapped.” taking place below the area of swampy area of Brygenwerth.

Bloodborne’s lore will be expanded upon in the expansion, shining light on events and characters found throughout Yarnham.

There will be 10-15 new weapons, mainly because many players have requested more weapons be in the game.

New armour sets will be available too, expect them to be just as macabre and gruesome as everything else in Bloodborne.

From Software has confirmed that no further expansions are planned for Bloodborne, as the studio focuses on Dark Souls 3.

According to game director Hidetaka Miyazaki, players are yet to discover all of the secrets found in Bloodborne, and there are even more to come in The Old Hunters.
