Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles will cost more than your usual DLC pack

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles is official, and it’s coming first to PS4 on May 16.

The upcoming DLC pack will remaster eight classic zombie maps for the popular shooter franchise across PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Activision has confirmed it will retail for $30, while the usual expansions for Call of Duty would normally run you $15 or so. UK pricing is yet to be confirmed.

Bundling together virtual playgrounds from World at War, Blacks Ops and Black Ops 2, Zombie Chronicles is set to be a gruesomely nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Activision has also revealed the slew of bonus content coming to all owners of the DLC, which you can check out below:

  • An exclusive Pack-A-Punch weapon camo
  • Twenty vials of Liquid Divinium
  • Two “all-new Whimsical GobbleGums.”

Those who pre-order right now will gain access to an exclusive theme on PS4. Double XP is planned for eight days after things launch on May 16.

Treyarch is yet to announce when we can expect Zombie Chronicles for Xbox One and PC. Chances are it will follow the usual 30 days of exclusivity on PS4 before launching on other platforms.

This year’s entry in the blockbuster series, Call of Duty: WW2, is also set to include a new and improved Nazi Zombies mode. Sledgehammer Games promises to deliver new characters, locations and narrative elements in the undead offering.
