Bioshock: The Collection has finally been confirmed for PS4, Xbox One and PC

2K Games has confirmed that Bioshock: The Collection is launching on September 13 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The remastered collection will include Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite running at 1080p/60fps on all platforms.

2K has also confirmed that PC players who own the original versions of each game will be able to claim a free upgrade.

You will have access to all DLC released for each game with the exception of multiplayer content, which won’t be included as part of the collection.

To top it all off, all games will now feature developer commentary from creative director Ken Levine and lead animator Shawn Robertson.

The original Bioshock first launched in 2007 for Xbox 360 and PC. This was followed by Bioshock 2 in 2010 and Infinite in 2013.

They’re all fantastic first-person shooters, pushing the genre forward with innovative storytelling and RPG-esque mechanics as you explore the dystopian cities of Rapture and Columbia.

Bioshock: The Collection has been rumoured for a long time now, so it’s nice to finally see it revealed.
