During a keynote at the Develop:Brighton conference, legendary games designer Hideo Kojima said that the mysterious Death Stranding would be his "best work" ever, which has us very excited given how generally epic the Metal Gear Solid series was.
If you remember, we gave that title a nearly perfect 9/10 score in our Metal Gear Solid 5 review, and were fascinated by the reveal trailer earlier this year at E3.

Now, Kojima has added further fuel to the fire, saying that the forthcoming PlayStation and PC title will be his "best work so far".
Speaking to PlayStation bigwig Mark Cerny during a Develop:Brighton keynote, he hinted that his split with Konami had freed him to make more creative works.
"So far, when I've been making games, I've had to give up on something or at least compromise in order to get things done.
"This time, working with you [Mark Cerny] and you bringing state of the art technologies, we will get around that.
"I've very confident that we're working towards something completely new and that no one has seen so far.
"This will be my best work, I'm confident about that."
Death Stranding is still in the very early stages of development, but it will be released for the PS4 and PC when it does finally land – an educated guess would point to 2017 at the absolute earliest, but 2018 seems more likely.
