Bethesda to hold first ever E3 press conference

Bethesda has announced it will hold its first ever E3 press conference at E3 2015.

The Fallout developer has confirmed it will hold its first ever E3 press conference on June 14 2015 somewhere in Hollywood, California.

A limited number of tickets will be made available to Bethesda’s fans, but the developer has confirmed you’ll be able to watch the whole press conference via live stream on Twitch.

Bethesda are keeping a specific time and location under wraps at the moment, along with the potential discussion topics.

Of course, there’s no reason not to speculate what Bethesda will be talking about – there must be a reason why it has chosen this year to host its first press event.

The company next big project is rumoured to be Fallout 4, a game which entered production back in April 2014 after Bethesda released the final Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim DLC pack.

It is rumoured to have a Boston setting, Massachusetts thanks to an early casting leak for the game.

However huge a full Fallout 4 announcement may be, it wouldn’t be just to have just one game announced at a press conference.

Could it be a focus on The Elder Scrolls Online, which would have launched on Xbox One and PS4 under a week previously?

Or even a section for upcoming free-to-play PC online multiplayer title Battlecry?

Perhaps then a reveal for a follow-on to 2012’s Dishonoured – the Steampunk stealth game developed by Arkane Studios. The game did so well Bethesda confirmed it would be one of the new franchises to be fair, so it’s not total guesswork.

There may also be mention of id Software’s new Doom reboot, currently being developed for PC, PS4 and Xbox One with id Tech 6.
