In a well-deserved victory, Sky has bagged TV Provider of the Year at the Trusted Reviews Awards 2017.
When it comes to delivering great content directly to your living rooms, few can compete with Sky. The media giant has been beaming quality TV and movies to Sky Q boxes all year long, with great success.
This has been a great year for Sky, with the company reporting an increase in both subscribers and profits. The company also secured a major production agreement with US firm HBO, and continues to dominate the UK television industry.
We should also mention that a big part of Sky’s success this year was its continuing distribution of Game of Thrones in the UK. The award-winning series sees fantasy, politics and fornication melded together for our ongoing entertainment has been a major coup for the broadcaster.
Looking forward to 2018, it’s fair to say that Sky is perfectly positioned to continue this dominating streak. The company is making movements to tackle the 4K revolution head on, and will be working on hype-building for the next season of Game of Thrones to no end.
