Besee Bike Light doubles as a phone holder

The Besee Bike Light does a lot more than just show you the way.

It features a universal smartphone holder, so it keeps your handset in place and lets you use a satnav on the screen. There’s a built-in rechargeable battery that keeps your phone juiced up while cycling. Plus it’s waterproof, so will withstand all the elements.

The light part of it is pretty cool too. It’s a 15-degree flashlight that claims to provide more light than any other. It lasts for 15 hours before needing a recharge, so should last most people a week’s worth of commutes before needing to be plugged in.

The built-in battery doesn’t just charge one phone. It features four mobile connectors and other gadget inputs, with all the cords and inputs kept secured from the elements.

If you get in trouble, it has a red SOS light function too, to alert passersby.

It’s raised £525 of a £25,000 goal, so there’s a long way to go. However, it still has 29 days left, which is plenty of time. Get in early, and you can nab one for £35 on an early bird. The usual retail price is £59, so you’ll save nearly £25. If successful, it will ship in July.
