Beats by Dr. Dre has announced it will be releasing a neon range of Beats Mixr, in conjunction with DJ David Guetta.
Co-founded by artist and producer Dr. Dre, the Beats Mixr headphones will be reintroduced in five new neon colours: blue, green, orange, pink and yellow.
“The Beats Mixr is an incredible combination of power, accuracy and durability in a lightweight package backed by great design.” said Luke Wood, President and COO of Beats by Dr. Dre. “We developed this product with David Guetta to create a headphone that can withstand the beating of a three hour club set every night of the year and consistently deliver premium performance. Now with limited edition neon colors, it’s just that much more fun.”
Beats Mixr Features
Despite their lightweight form, the Beats Mixr headphones are capable of delivering deep bass at high volumes. With an ultra-flexible headband, Beats Mixr are easily foldable and have rotating ear cups for listening to conversations and music simultaneously.
Suitable for travellers, Beats Mixr headphones are built to withstand heavy use and being chucked in a bag. Beats Mixr also feature dual input for friends to share their music, similar to that feature in Urban Ears headphones. This enables several Beats Mixr to connect in a “daisy chain” format so users can check out what their mates are listening to.
With a sliding headband, Beats Mixr headphones are suitable for any head size for men and women.
Beats Mixr Release Date And Price
Neon Beats Mixr headphones will be available from June 11, with an RRP of £219.95. Shipping in the aforementioned neon range, the headphones can still be purchased in the original black, white and red in a gloss or matte finish.
