Batman: Arkham Knight won’t be coming to Mac or Linux
Warner Bros. has confirmed the cancellation of Batman: Arkham Knight for Mac and Linux platforms.
PC players have been very unlucky when it comes to Batman: Arkham Knight. The initial release was a broken, buggy mess, so much so it was pulled from the Steam storefront for months.
Warner Bros. has now confirmed that the Mac and Linux versions of Arkham Knight have been canned.
Writing on Steam, a developer from Rocksteady announced that the Mac and Linux releases are no longer in development.
Users who pre-ordered these versions of Arkham Knight can apply for a refund through Steam, or opt for the PC port.

Arkham Knight’s PC release was filled with performance issues, making the game completely unplayable on some systems.
After receiving overwhelmingly negative reviews and complaints from users, the mediocre port was immediately pulled for Steam, and didn’t return until four months later.
Rocksteady is still developing downloadable content for the game, all of which is available on PC.

Despite all the controversy, Arkham Knight was a solid game, and a fitting way to close Rocksteady’s legendary trilogy.
