Batman Arkham Knight PC DLC delay still in place as issues persist
The Batman Arkham Knight PC DLC has been delayed once again, as issues with the game’s port persist.
Publisher Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has announced that the first story expansion for Arkham Knight, A Matter of Family, on PC has been delayed until further notice due to ongoing technical issues with the title.
This content is still scheduled to launch for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One tomorrow, with no release window expected for the PC version. Since its launch last month, Arkham Knight has been infamously plagued with technical problems on PC.
“Our continued focus on getting the right PC fixes in place for the main game has had an impact on the development of all DLC content for the PC version of the game,” explained Warner Bros in a forum post.
“This means that the Batman: Arkham Knight Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC will not be available on July 14 for those who are currently playing the PC version of the game. We apologise for the delay and only want to make sure that any content that we offer is up to the standards that PC players expect.”

The post also confirms that Rocksteady and Warner Bros are working hard to resolve the problems users are experiencing on PC, sales of which have been suspended on Steam.
“Addressing the PC performance issues is still our top priority, and at this time we believe we have identified a number of fixes for the larger issues that were affecting PC players at launch,” the publisher said.
“These fixes are currently being implemented into the game and once we have been able to do some initial testing, we’ll have a better idea on the status of our progress. We’ll provide an update on how things are developing next week.”
Warner Bros is taking “full responsibility” for the disastrous launch of Arkham Knight on PC. The company has pledged to make changes to its internal review process to ensure this is not repeated with future titles.
A report surfaced earlier this month hinting that Warner Bros and Rocksteady had known about these issues for months, with the port being outsourced to Iron Galaxy Studios.
Batman: Arkham Knight released to critical and commercial acclaim on PS4 and Xbox One last month, but the PC version was immediately panned for its mediocre quality.
