Batman Arkham Knight officially announced with trailer

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has officially announced Batman: Arkham Knight.

Arkham Knight will be the latest instalment in the Batman Arkham series, which is already home to Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and the latest Batman: Arkham Origins.

The game will be located in a much larger version of Gotham city with wider streets that you’ll be able to drive the Batmobile down. Yes you’ll be able to drive the Batmobile.

“Batman: Arkham Knight is the pinnacle game of our hugely successful franchise, and we are giving players the most expansive, impressive title in the series,” said Martin Tremblay, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “We’re excited to be developing the game for next-gen platforms, which has allowed us to bring to life the design elements that we envisioned from the beginning such as the Batmobile and how it augments Batman’s abilities, to the fully detailed and realized Gotham City.”

The game will be the final instalment in the Arkham series and will feature Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn among other super villians.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be available later in 2014 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
