Bang & Olufsen unveils BeoVision Avant 75-inch TV

Bang & Olufsen took to CES this year with a beefy addition to its television roster – the BeoVision Avant 75-inch TV.

The new TV slots in between the existing 55-inch and 85-inch models, padding out the company’s 4K roster.

The TV touts a UHD display, BeoRemote App 2.0 compabitility, and a host of smart features including on-demand TV and Spotify.

Marie Kristine Schmidt, B&O’s VP of Brand, Design, and Marketing, said: “As we anticipated, BeoVision Avant has followed in the footsteps of its predecessor, which was a game change in the analogue era.” She’s referring to the eponymous CRT TV of yore, often described as the finest ever made.

“When we launched it last year we saw unprecendeted demand and unsurpassed feedback from consumers around the globe that agreed with our vision of the future of television.”

If you’ve not heard of the Avant TV range before, it’s a pretty jazzy affair. The TVs come with both a motorised stand and a wall-bracket option.

The motorised stand lets you move and turn the TV around remotely, so you can bag the perfect viewing angle with sloth-like ease.

The wall-bracket option is also motorised, and will let you have the TV sit flush against the wall, or unfolded outward in your ‘favourite positon’. Naughty.

“We not only wish to make sure the TV can blend into the background when not in use, but also add the wow factor with a show stopping piece of technology,” explained Schmidt.

“With this family of Avants, we hope to offer consumers the choice they crave to make sure the TV can fit with their lifestyles and complement their homes.”

The BeoVision Avant 75-inch model will be available starting Feburary this year, with an R.R.P of £11,595. Better get saving.
