Bang & Olufsen’s new headphones are touch-friendly and wireless
Bang & Olufsen have announced a new addition to their B&O PLAY range in the form of wireless headphones with a touch sensitive ear cup.
The BeoPlay H7 wireless headphones combine the BeoPlay H6 over-ear headphones with the wireless technology of the BeoPlay H8.
Available in either black, or a light cream colour the company is referring to as “natural”, the touch interface on the ear cups allows you to control the sound in a number of ways.
Tapping the aluminium surface answers phone calls, while swiping changes tracks.
Using your finger to make a circle alters the volume and the interface even works if you’re wearing gloves.
The BeoPlay H7s are charged via USB and offer up to 20 hours of wireless playtime on a single charge.

Wireless technology is provided through the use of Bluetooth 4.1 with aptx and AAC codecs which the company says will provide “an authentic and perfectly well-balanced sound”.
They also feature memory foam and soft lambskin to help with noise cancellation.
Available as of October 15, the headphones will be priced at £329, $449, and €449.
