Have you ever wanted to capture everything you do while going about your daily life? Well now you can with the Autographer by OMG Life.
The newly announced Autographer is a small, wearable camera that automatically captures a continuous stream of photographs as you wander around living your life.
Able to capture thousands of images per day, it uses five on-board sensors and GPS to work out when is the best moment to take a photo. It tracks light and colour changes, motion, direction and temperature fluctuations - so if things get hot and steamy the camera won't miss a thing.
Once captured you can download the images to a computer and play them back just like a virtual flipbook.
“The beauty of Autographer is that you don’t have to stop to take a photo or spend your day looking at life through a lens. You can live your experiences to the full while Autographer spontaneously captures the stories that happen all around you." said Simon Randall, Head of OMG Life.
“Individual images offer a fascinating slice of life, while an Autographer stop-frame video lets you relive a whole day’s activity in just a few minutes. It’s not just a new camera but a whole new photographic approach." he continued.
The device centres around a 5 megapixel sensor and wide angle lens (136 degrees) with a fixed focal length and focus. Weighing just 58g and with dimensions of 37.4 x 90 x 22.9mm, the whole device should go relatively unnoticed, though we can't vouch for how you may look wearing the thing.
Set to cost £399, the Autographer will be available in November but you can register to 'be part of the launch' now.
