Assassin’s Creed Unity Dead Kings DLC apology out now

Update: The Assassin’s Creed Unity Dead Kings DLC is now available to download on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

The complimentary DLC, offered for free as compensation for all the Assassin’s Creed Unity bugs, is available to download now on the aforementioned platforms.

However, the PS4 and PS3 won’t be graced with the Dead Kings DLC until tomorrow, January 14.

Original Story: Ubisoft has announced the free compensatory Assassin’s Creed Unity Dead Kings DLC will arrive next week.

The city and catacombs of Saint Denis, full of the crypts of deceased French kings, will be opened up to Assassin’s Creed Unity gamers next week.

The Dead Kings DLC will be offered as a free download to anyone who has purchased Assassin’s Creed Unity, to compensate for the bugs and issues the game has been experiencing since launch.

Dead Kings is set after the events of AC Unity, where you’ll see Arno leave Paris for Saint Denis on a mission to the extensive underground of the Basilica.

Arno will encounter a new enemy faction known as the Raiders, who run amok in the catacombs.

At his disposal, Arno has a brand new weapon, the Guillotine gun, and just a lantern. Using these he’ll be tasked with uncovering the dark secrets of the underbelly of the city.

The Dead Kings DLC introduces a main single-player campaign, but also brings with it new activities and side missions, such as Murder Mysteries, enigmas and co-operative missions.

By completing these new single-player and co-op modes, you’ll be able to unlock new gear, outfits and weapons that can be used in the main Assassin’s Creed Unity game and Dead Kings.

Dead Kings will be released on PC and Xbox One on Tuesday January 13, while the PS4 will get the complimentary DLC on Wednesday January 14.
