April PlayStation Plus games confirmed, including Dishonored for PS3

Sony has confirmed the April PlayStation Plus games, including the excellent Dishonored for PS3.

The April PlayStation Plus titles have been confirmed ahead of their availability on April 8.

Next month, as an Easter treat you’re actually getting three PS4 titles, two PS3 and two PS Vita titles. Technically anyway.

In our opinion, it’s not really the strongest month for PlayStation Plus, unless you haven’t yet played Dishonored.

For the PS4 there’s another day one title in PlayStation Plus and that’s Tower of Guns. This is a what Sony is describing as an “old-school rogue-like first person shooter” that randomly spews out enemies and the levels themselves.

Also for PS4 is the beautiful Never Alone. Developed in partnership with the Alaskan Native community, Never Alone explores old folk tales with stunning environments and rather legendary character. You’ll need to guide Nuna and her pet Fox as you explore the icy wilderness.

For the PS4 and PS3, there’s Aaru’s Awakening – currently only available on Steam. This is a hand-drawn 2D action platformer where you control a mythical creature called Aaru and must use his teleport and charge abilities to traverse the dangerous world.

For the PS3, there’s the absolutely amazing Dishonored – a Steampunk-themed stealth action adventure. You play as Corvo Attano, who is being framed for the murder of the Empress of the Isles. He is forced to become an assassin, seeking revenge on those who conspired against him.

And for the PS Vita, you’ve got Killzone Mercenary – the handheld spin-off of the Killzone series.

There’s also MonsterBag for the PS Vita, a puzzle/platformer that sees you guide a rucksack-shaped hero to reach his friend Nia.
