April Games with Gold confirmed with double the games

Microsoft has confirmed the April Games with Gold, with double the games for Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Games with Gold is gifting gamers with double the Xbox One and Xbox 360 games this month to celebrate their dedication to the Xbox Live service.

Usually Games with Gold offers two Xbox 360 games and just one Xbox One title. However, this in April, you’re getting two Xbox One games and four Xbox 360 titles – and great ones at that.

“You might think April’s the perfect time to joke around – but we have no intention of doing that here at Xbox. Instead, we want to take a moment to appreciate you, the Xbox gamer,” said Xbox in a statement. “Over the course of the Games with Gold program, more than 100 million games have been download, with over 5 billion Gamerscore earned.”

For the Xbox One, gamers will be able to download Pool Nation FX and the wonderful UbiArt title Child of Light.

There’s no restriction on when you can download these either, as both titles will be offered as a free download through Games with Gold for Xbox One all month.

As for the Xbox 360, between April 1 – 15 you’ll be able to grab Gears of War: Judgment and Terraria.

Then, between April 16 – 31 you can get access to Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel through Games with Gold.

“This April is about celebrating great games played by the greatest fans in the world – and we’ve given you the ammo to do that. Now get out there and start playing,” added Xbox.
