Apple and Niantic have announced the forthcoming launch of Pokémon Go for the Apple Watch.
During the See You event in San Francisco on Wednesday, Niantic detailed the new extension app, which will ship before the end of the year.
Poké Trainers will be notified when creatures and Pokestops are nearby and players will be able to swipe to pick up new items.
Users will have a homescreen where they can see their current level, while the app will also make data available as ‘complications’ on the watch face.
The game is linked to the workout apps, so steps will count towards daily Activity goals.
