Apple unveils Beats Solo 2 Luxe Edition headphones
Apple has unveiled a new pair of headphones – the Beats Solo 2 Luxe Edition.
They’re part of the Beats Solo 2 line-up, although they ship with a more ritzy finish than previous iterations.
Apple says the design is inspired by a “luxury sports car”, and talks up the “streamlined aesthetic” of the new headphones.
The Beats Solo 2 Luxe Edition have angled earcups for a more natural fit, and have been designed to “minimise” sound leakage.
“When superior style and performance is demanded,” writes Apple, “your headphone must deliver sound that’s as smooth as its curves and as rich as its glossy finish.”
The tech giant continues: “The Solo 2 Luxe Edition’s brilliant lustre and plush accents hit all the right notes demanded by music enthusiasts with extreme style.”
