Apple’s WWDC 2016 set to begin on June 13?

Apple WWDC 2015

Apple’s annual WWDC conference will kick off on June 13 2016, judging by the current schedule at the company’s go-to venue.

MacRumors has done a little digging into the packed events schedule at San Francisco’s Moscone Centre, where Apple usually holds the developer conference.

The only slot left at Apple’s preferred Moscone West location during the usual time period is the week of June 13-16 2016.

Last year, Apple held WWDC 2015 on June 8.

During the event the firm is likely to take the wrapper off iOS 10 and Mac OS 10.12. The company is also likely to show off developments within watchOS during the software focused show.

Last year Apple also introduced Apple Music, while devoting time to the Apple Pay and HomeKit platforms.

Of course WWDC isn’t the only expected event in the first half of 2016.
