While the case retains the same physical size, Apple has been able to boost the battery from 1,877 mAh to 2,365mAh. That’s an increase of 26 per cent.
With the case, iPhone 7 owners will get an extra 22-hours of talk time and 26-hours of LTE use.
The $99/£99 case doesn’t do a lot for the aesthetics of Apple’s intricately crafted smartphone, but it should keep you going on an overnight trip.
iPhone 7 battery cases have been in the news this week, with one solution integrating a 3.5mm headphone jack, following Apple decision to unceremoniously drop the century-old technology.
With the top spec iPhone 7 Plus costing £919, AirPods at £159 and £99 for battery case, this iPhone 7 owning lark isn’t cheap.
