Apple is gearing up for its 2016 music festival, imaginatively titled Apple Music Festival, and we’ve got all the information you need including the dates, line-up, and how to get tickets – plus whether or not it’s free.
As music festivals go, Apple’s isn’t quite the draw that Reading or Glastonbury have come to be, but it’s a pretty big affair worth taking note of.
And for its 10th anniversary, Apple is making every effort to make it an event worth attending, securing big name headliners and no less than 10 nights of music across London.
Here’s all you need to know about the festival.

Apple Music Festival 2016 – What is it?
Apple will be taking over London’s Roundhouse for 10 days of performances this September. From 6pm BST each evening, the Roundhouse will host some of the world’s most popular artists, and is inviting anyone over the age of 16 (if you’re younger you need to be accompanied by an adult) to join in.

It’s not a festival in the classic sense of the word. You won’t be camping, eating terrible overpriced food, or queuing for the mass wastelands that pass for toilets at these things. Instead, you’re basically looking at a series of evening gigs in London.
The whole thing will also be broadcast to Apple Music users, who will be able to stream the event as it happens. Oh, and the whole thing is free – as long as you can get tickets.
Apple Music Festival 2016 – When is it?
The opening night is September 18 and the festival runs until September 30. However, two nights out of those 12 don’t have any acts. The festival takes a break on September 22 and 29. Each night, doors will open around 6pm, with the first act set to perform at around 8pm and the headliner going on at 9pm.
You’ll want to get there before 8pm however, as Apple says they can’t guarantee entry for anyone arriving after that time.

Apple will be hosting its extravaganza at London’s Roundhouse. The address is: The Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Rd, London NW1 8EH.

The company has made every effort to demonstrate its environmental awareness and general good nature by providing the venue with an “environmental makeover”, which involves upgrades to the lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems; installing recycling and composting bins; arranging to turn used fryer oil into biofuel; buying renewable energy credits to cover the Roundhouse’s September electricity use; and offering reusable water bottles instead of plastic ones.

Apple Music Festival 2016 – So, how do I get tickets?
Unless you live in the UK, unfortunately, you’re fresh out of luck in this department. If you do happen to live in UK, you can head over to the official Apple Music Festival site to apply for tickets.
Just click on ‘Join Us’. You’ll have to sign up for Apple Music if you don’t have it already, however.
You’ll also be able to stream the shows live if you’re an Apple Music subscriber.
