Apple's latest operating system, iOS 10, is still in its infancy, but that hasn't stopped a member of the jailbreak community from hacking away at the new OS.

iOS 10 isn't even in public beta, yet it has already been exploited by regular jailbreaker iH8sn0w.

He posted a video to YouTube that appears to demonstrate the hack, but stopped short of making his method public – sparing us the usual spiel about the follies of jailbreaking your phone.

In other words, all we can see is an iPhone 5 running Cydia on the iOS 10 developer preview, so it's mostly noteworthy for proving that jailbreaking more recent versions of iOS is still very much possible.

Apple has made cracking its mobile OS increasingly difficult, with the last widespread jailbreak being all the way back at iOS 9.0.2 using the Pangu tool.
