iOS 10 Problems

Apple has released a minor iOS 10 update, available to download today.

The iOS 10.1.1 update comes a week after the firm released the iOS 10.1 update, which brought the eagerly-anticipated Portrait mode for iPhone 7 Plus.

This release offers no new features but it does bring an important fix for the Health app, which had not been showing data for some users.

The release notes for the 64.2MB update states: “This update fixes bugs, including an issue where Health data could not be viewed for some users.”

It is not thought that the issue was widespread among iOS 10 owners, which now account for over 60 per cent of total users.

However, it is an important fix for those using the Health app for medical or fitness purposes.

If you wish to download the update over the air, just head to Settings > General > Software Update.

Have you experienced any problems with the Health app since upgrading to iOS 10? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Maybe Apple should use some of its cash reserves to test the software before it is released. I know, the adventuresome customers are supposed to do the testing but really. If I wanted this kind of software and support I would have gone with MicroSoft.

Yes indeedy. I'm sure there are some beta testers out there, but apparently they need omega testers.
