The new Apple TV is on the shelves, presenting new opportunities for App Store developers to push their games on another device. That's got to be a good thing, right?
However, the company has already upset some developers who’ve been slaving away on creating titles especially for the new tvOS set-top box.
That’s what’s upset developer Brian Greenstone who developed five games for the new box, which are essentially beyond buried on the App Store.

Taking to the Apple’s developer forums to air his grievance, Greenstone the founder of Pangea Software: “I just worked my ass off for the last two months getting five games ready for launch day.
“And now I see that there’s absolutely no way to discover the apps unless a user explicitly searches for it. This is such a slap in the face to all of the developers who have been working so hard.”
As there are no listings, currently the only way for gamers to discover Greenstone’s titles is to search for them specifically.
The developer complains that in its current form, Apple TV owners will only be able to see what Apple decides to feature.
“I’m sure there are hundreds of other great apps from other developers that will never see the light of day either,” he added.
