Apple has released the first public beta version of the iOS 9.1 operating system.
The tweaked version is geared towards those who will be snapping up the iPad Pro as it offers support for the new Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard.
The latest beta also features a host of brand new emoji from the Unicode 8 standard, which Apple is supporting.
Among those new emojis are a taco, a burrito, a block of cheese, a unicorn and hand gestures like ‘stop’ and ‘middle finger’ or “reversed hand with middle finger extended” as it is officially known.
If you want to take the new software for a spin anyway, it can be obtained by signing up for Apple’s beta testing website. There, you’ll also be able to obtain preview versions of Mac OS X El Capitan, which lands on September 22.

While iOS 9.1 won’t officially launch until November, iOS 9 will roll out to users on September 16, just over a week before the new iPhones come to the market.
