Amazon has stepped up its battle with Netflix on iOS devices, with a brand new version of its Video app.
The updated Amazon Video app adds a host of new features, including support for 3D touch on the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
This will make it easier for users to access their favourite content right from the iOS 9 homescreen.
The company is also introducing the IMDb-powered X-Ray feature, which brings information on cast, crew, soundtracks as well as trivia for the movie or TV show

Speaking of the iPad, this newest version is the first to offer full iPad Pro optimisation.
Lastly, there’s now a Next Up feature which is a fancier way of saying autoplay.
The new app is available to download from the App Store now and follows the addition of offline playback for the entire library.
