Amazon has launched its Dash buttons in the UK, allowing customers to order items simply by pressing a button once.
The gadgets have been available in the US for some time, but now UK Amazon users can pair the plastic buttons with their Wi-Fi network and Amazon accounts to make ordering specific products even easier.
Each button costs £4.99 each an is linked to a particular item, such as detergent, shaving cream, or even Durex condoms.

However, the buttons are essentially free as you'll get £4.99 off the product when you first use Dash to place an order.
You can attach the devices to any surface, the idea being you stick the button next to the item you're likely to want to re-order, so you can just hit it when you need to.
For example, you can attach a Dash button to your washing machine, so when you're running low on detergent you can re-order before you forget.
Basically, it's a way to spend money incredibly easily, and you might want to think twice about dotting these things around your home, especially if you need to keep a close check on your outgoings.
Still, it's nice to see the company expanding products to the UK that were previously limited to the US – we can't help but wish we'd got the Amazon Echo with Alexa rather than the Dash buttons, though.
Amazon is also rolling out its Dash Replacement Service to the UK, which allows devices such as Samsung printers to order replenishments for things like printer ink when running low.
You can find out more about the Dash buttons over at Amazon's site but you'll have to be a Prime member if you want to order one of the devices.
