Not wanting to be left behind the likes of LG, Samsung, LG again, ZTE, Panasonic, Nokia and…LG again and again, all of whom have announced new smartphones ahead of Mobile World Congress, Acer has joined the party and today announced the launch of the Liquid Glow.
The Acer Liquid Glow will feature a 3.7in screen and will run the latest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone will also feature a five megapixel camera with LED flash, an NFC chip and will go on sale in early summer.
After that though Acer is remaining tight-lipped regarding the phone's specs, waiting for the full unveil at MWC in Barcelona next week.
The news phone will be available in a series of “trendy colours” such as Sakura Pink, Alpine White, and Cat's-eye Black. And to add to the styling, the phones’ on-screen display style varies depending on the external colour.
We will of course be on-hand in Barcelona from this weekend to bring you all the new details as soon as they are announced.
