Acer has introduced three new models in its Chromebook and Ultrabook laptop range just in time to show them off at CES 2014.
Just in time for CES 2014, Acer has updated its range of laptop models with the C720P Chromebook and Acer Aspire S3 and Aspire V5.
Acer Chromebook C720P-2600 Features
The Acer Chromebook C720P-2600 has an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768p HD touchscreen. It runs on an Intel Celeron 2955U processor based on the Intel Haswell microarchitecture with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and has a 32GB SSD.
With an average battery life of 7.5 hours, the C720P Chromebook is 2cm thick and weighs 1.4kg, making it fairly portable.
The C720P-2600 Chromebook not only come with a new configuration, but also a new colour – Moonstone White – and is offered from €299 (approx. £250).
Acer Aspire S3 Features
The Aspire S3 Ultrabook has inherited some of the design features of the Acer Aspire S7, but still maintains a cheaper price than its bigger brother. It has a dual-torque hinge design, allowing the Full 1080p HD IPS screen to be tilted to 180-degree angles.
It features an Intel Core processor and Nvidia GeForce GT 735M graphics, while the video calling quality is enhanced by Acer Purified Voice technology.
Available now, the Acer Aspre S3 price starts at €999 (approx. £830).
Acer Aspire V5-561P Features
Acer has equipped the new Aspire V5 with a built-in M-disc enabled optical drive and a 15.6-inch HD LED display running Windows 8.
You can opt for a configuration with up to 16GB of RAM, combined with Haswell Intel Core processors. There’s AMD Radeon R7 or R5 graphics card options on offer as well.
The audio is enhanced by Dolby Digital Plus Home Theatre surround sound effect technology, while HDMI, VGA, USB 3.0 and an SD card slot expand the connectivity of the Aspire V5.
The Aspire V5 is available now from €599 (approx. £495).
