Galaxy Note 7 Injustice Edition spotted in leaked spy shots?

The Galaxy Note 7 is already one of best-looking and most capable smartphones available, but Samsung is seemingly intent to prove that the best can always be improved upon.

Enter what looks to be a new Injustice Edition of the Note 7, complete with Batman-themed case and OS, and a whopping 6GB of RAM.

The handset was seemingly revealed in leaked images posted to Chinese social media site, and consistent source of pre-release spy shots, Weibo (via wccftech).

Revealed in the photos is a new black case, with gold Batman logo on the rear and gold metal finishes on various features on the front of the device.

What's more, if the leak is accurate, it seems Samsung has added a new Batman theme to the OS itself, with a modified dial pad, darker theme, and redesigned icons.

On top of the photos, a rumour that the device will come with 6GB of RAM has emerged, which gives the rumoured Injustice model 2GB more memory than the standard Note 7.

At least, in western markets, that is. China already has a 6GB version of the Note 7, and it could be, if this redesigned model turns out to be real, that the Injustice Edition only launches in the Chinese market.

Other rumoured specs include 128GB internal storage, as opposed to the current 64GB offering in the standard model, and a Snapdragon 821 processor.

With no word from Samsung on whether these photos are legitimate, or whether the redesigned phone actually exists, we'd advise taking this leak with due caution.

But seeing as the Galaxy S7 Edge will soon be getting the Injustice treatment, we're really hoping Samsung does indeed have similar plans for the Note.

Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
