All good things come to those who wait...

Microsoft has continued its big October (which also comprises the launch of Windows Phone and Windows 7) with the announcement of three major additions to its popular Xbox 360 Classics collection. From 9 October, Grand Theft Auto IV, Midnight Club Lost Angeles: Complete Edition and BioShock will go on sale for £14.99 apiece.

While none of this acclaimed trio really needs an introduction, it is worth pointing out if you haven' t yet been wooed by the violent charms of GTA IV there is no better time to catch up. Expansion pack The Lost and Damned is already available and eagerly awaited The Ballad of Gay Tony is coming soon.

Furthermore, if your heart was understandably swayed by Burnout at the time, MCLA should add spice. Lastly, while I can't ever enjoy an FPS as much without keyboard and mouse the inevitable hype of BioShock 2 next year should again set sales of a reduced price BioShock soaring.

All three join the likes of Halo 3, Gears of War, Forza 2, Project Gotham Roacing 4, Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed which are already on Classics. If only consoles dropped 70 per cent in price every 18 months too...
