World's Smallest Bluetooth Headset Launched

The benefit of Bluetooth headsets is obvious: it scares people as you appear to be walking down the street talking to yourself. The downside was equally obvious: bulky inconvenience, though not anymore...

Appearing from nowhere is the Celleden 'ADB-2388 Ultra Compact Headset' - a descriptive and rather apt name for what is the lightest and smallest Bluetooth set this side of a Hollywood action flick.

Barely larger than a 20p piece (non-Brits, the exact measurements are 35 x 20 x 7.5mm) and tickling the scales at a miniscule 6.5 grams the headset also punches above its weight spec wise. Mic volume is up to 95dB while four hours of continuous talk time or 50 hours of standby can be garnered from a single charge. A substantial 10 metre range is beyond our expectations too.

Furthermore, a compact charging container can be powered either from a USB port or car cigarette lighter as illustrated above.

Launching immediately in a choice of black or white on website TwistedCarbon for a very reasonable £29.99 the ADB-2388 Ultra Compact Headset is a must have for neat freaks and spy fans everywhere. Besides it'll look even more menacing when you start talking on the bus and no-one can actually see the headset...

The title of this story is misleading as the world's smallest Bluetooth headsets have come from Nextlink with their 5G and G5 models that were launched in 2005 and 2007 respectively.

It's not misleading if we've never heard of the headsets you mention Rsaeire ;) I'll speak to the manufacturer.

We actually reviewed the Invisio headset: http://www.trustedreviews.com/....

Not sure how that and this set compare, though.
