Vodafone Sells Out of iPhone 4 on PAYG

Vodafone is now offering the iPhone 4 for sale on a Pay-as-you-Go basis, though it has already sold out of its initial allocation. However, the web page insists that more are on the way.

The 32GB iPhone 4 costs £570 locked to Vodafone, a £29 saving compared to buying it unlocked direct from Apple. The 16GB model costs £480, £19 less than from Apple

While this doesn’t seem like much of a saving, Vodafone has sweetened the deal by offering a 250MB data bundle per month, and 1GB of BT Openzone Wi-Fi as well – though this is only an introductory offer until November 2010.

Vodafone is only the second network to offer the iPhone 4 on PAYG, after Orange, while O2's web site claims that it will be coming soon.

With the iPhone 4 selling out on Vodafone as soon as it went on sale, it seems that the long running “Antennagate” saga has not dampened enthusiasm for the handset.
