In case you didn't know, Europe's pre-eminent consumer electronics trade show, IFA, is due to kick-off next month, and ViewSonic has announced it will be showing two new tablets at the show. One will be an Intel-based, 10-inch affair that will dual-boot Windows and Android, while the other will be a 7-inch device that runs Android exclusively.
Regrettably details are thin, but the 7-inch tablet (pictured) will feature 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth, and will have front and rearward facing cameras. It's to be known as the ViewPad 7, and based on the mock-up looks likely to have some kind of custom UI.
As for the 10-inch device, we can assume it will be running Intel's Moorestown MID platform, though whether the Windows OS will be a full-fat Windows 7 or an embedded variant remains to be seen. We'll be covering show, though, so we'll be sure to take a look when we get there.
