If you enjoyed the snowboarding mini game in Wii Fit you're going to love this.
Tony Hawks Ride, the forthcoming latest instalment in the ever-brilliant franchise, won't be confining Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gamers to their console of choice's standard controller, oh no. Rather, Ride will come with a skateboard peripheral.
I really can't figure out quite how this controller is going to work. It's pretty obvious that balance-based steering will be part of the mix, but surely the game isn't going to require players to actually master the tricks they're performing in game - I can't see many gamers doing The 900 in their bedrooms or lounges. Perhaps there's a handheld part too? Only the developers know currently.
