Shuffles Become More Colourful

Apple has realised colours help conceal scratches so now its shuffle range is just as bright as its nanos’.

Late last night (GMT time anyway) the white fetishist announced that its confusingly popular line (no screen, no standard play, no cheaper than players with a screen and standard play!) will now be available in green, pink, blue and orange. They will also ship with Apple’s revised earphones which are more ergonomic than previous generations and will – presumably (it’s not stated) – offer better sound since boxed Apple headphones couldn’t offer worse.

Free shipping and free laser engraving remains meaning that we can expect the pink version to be a great get out for guys come Valentine’s Day (14 Feb, write it down!). Note that Apple lists iTunes 7.0.2 as being the minimum version required for the new shuffles to run so get downloading if you haven’t for a while.

Prices remain fixed at £55 including VAT meaning these 1GB players remain an expensive fashion item considering you can get a Creative Zen V Plus which boasts a screen and even video playback for the same price (Froogle it) but no one listens to me… pftt, like I care?
