Samsung Brings Desktop PCs to UK

Yes I can't quite believe it either, but these are actually Samsung's first desktop PCs to be released in the UK.

A pair of all-in-ones, they comprise the 23in 'U250' and 20in 'U200', but - as is becoming an increasingly frequent and infuriating Samsung trait - virtually no spec information has been revealed. Look dear Samsung, we can't really get excited unless you can reveal the odd thing for us to get excited about.

As it stands, we learn the U250 has a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution while the U200 has 1600 x 900 pixels. Nice as this is the marketing rhetoric that this combination "offer users an unparalleled multimedia touch-screen computing experience" is laying it on pretty thick. The models do look nice enough from the outside though and make the most of the Windows 7 Home Premium installs by featuring multi-touch capable displays.

Remarkably, however, that's all we know. Intel? AMD? Nvidia? ATI? RAM? Storage? Cost? You guess is as good as ours so enjoy that.

The U250 and U200 will be released in May as PC World exclusives. Should you care? Based on what we have here I've really no idea...
