If you're in the market for a non-too-expensive digital TV recorder then Sagem's DTR 67320T Eco and DTR 67500T Eco might be worth a look. Sure, they might not pack Freesat or Blu-ray drives, but not everyone wants such functionality anyway.

The DTR 67320T Eco and DTR 67500T Eco have 320GB and 500GB of hard drive capacity respectively, but in every other respect are identical. Both offer an eight day EPG, dual tuners, for recording and watching different channels simultaneously, and picture-in-picture display. Video files recorded to the internal hard drives can be transferred to a USB drive and MP3 and JPEG files can be played from such a device.

The recorders will also upscale SD content to 720p or 1080i over HDMI. In operation Sagem says the recorders consume a mere 15W of power, dropping to 2W on standby - hence the 'Eco' labels.

If you're interested then Sagem wants £149.99 of your hard earned currency for the DTR 67320T Eco and £179.99 for the DTR 67500T Eco.
