Parrot's back with more of what it does best...

The Bluetooth specialist has returned to its core (and very good) car kit range with the launch of the MKi9000 series comprised of the entry level 9000, midrange 9100 and flagship 9200.

What puts them into their respective positions is very straightforward: screens. All three use the same standard control knob with the option to make and end calls and skip, play and pause music streamed over Bluetooth, but the 9000 is screen-less, the 9100 sports a 2 line Blue OLED and the 9200 a glitzy 2.4in colour LCD.

The different screens add functionality too with the 9100 gaining a phone status display, visual phonebook and small playlist while the 9200 adds to this with customisable wallpaper, caller picture ID, full playlist and even album art. All three support voice dialling as well.

The MKi range goes on sale immediately with the retailing for £130, £150 and £190 respectively with the 9100 the sweet spot of the bunch for those not overly interested in musical tomfoolery.

Grab them while they're hot people...
