Remember that US PSP price cut I was waffling on about at the beginning of the month? It has just come to the UK.
In an attempt to win its (losing) battle with Nintendo's DS Lite, Sony has officially announced it will slice a whole £50 from the asking price bringing the PSP's official RRP down to £129.99. That said, this still means the console is a hefty £30 more expensive than the uber-popular DS Lite.
In addition PSP Platinum games titles will fall to £14.99 with Killzone, Loco Roco, Moto GP, Ridge Racer 2 and Tekken all newly added to the list.
The new price won't come into effect until 4 May, but with online retailers already peddling the handheld for as little as £135 (admittedly for the Base Pack) it will be interesting to see how low the new web deals can go?
Hands up all who would rather still have a DS Lite?
All of you
Yep, thought so...
