Ministry of Sound In Making-Good-PMP Shocker!

What is this you read?! A – dare I say it – good PMP from the Ministry of Sound... I must be kidding eh? Nope.

Going against all the laws of nature is the ‘MOSMP100X10’ a compact 83 x 70 x 16mm, 113g PMP with a whopping 3.5in 320 x 240 resolution screen that’s good for not only audio but video too.

To this end MP3, ASF, WMA and Mpeg4 formats are supported along with DRM 10 and direct line recording which allows it to rip video straight from the TV. A supplied USB cable also connects the MOSMP1-name-too-long-to-finish to a computer for drag and drop content management.

Where things predictably (this is MoS) become strange is regarding the storage capacity which is garnered entirely from its SD Card slot. Yup, not a lick of memory onboard! Still this isn’t too much of a problem since a 1GB card is bundled with the MOSM-etc-etc (good for four hours of video, it claims) and with the theoretically limitless capacity of the format there is no ceiling on the potential upgrade path.

The MO-blah comes preloaded with 10 Ministry of Sound tracks and a video celebrating its 15th Birthday video but since this PMP actually looks rather decent for once we won’t hold that against it.

The M-- is shipping now for £149.99. I’d like to say stranger things have happened... but, actually, they haven't.
